Wednesday Meeting

Troy is excited 'bout his human resources meeting this Wednesday, until he is confronted by Blaire. Blaire is unhappy with Troy over a recent shellfish incident, in which, Troy, uncharacteristically, chose not to eat seafood with his fellow office mates. Fortunately, this awkward meeting, which happens at a busy intersection just feet from the office building, goes surprisingly well, at first. But, then Troy, not meaning to be rude, tries to excuse himself from the conversation. Unfortunately, the moment he chooses to drop from the discussion just happens to be the moment that Blaire is explaining a recent tragedy that has befallen him, the death of his uncle, Marlowe. This is the same uncle, who upon dying, had forgotten to update his will to include Blaire. Blaire had been understandably shaken by this blow, because he had stayed with and cared for his uncle for weeks before his uncle died. So, when he returned to work, his office mates had offered to take him out for a shellfish treat to help get his mind off this injustice. This brings us back to Troy, who declined to go out and eat shellfish with Blaire and the others. And, now Troy has revealed that he is uninterested in their current conversation and that he must go, because he has an important human resources meeting to attend. This, of course, leads to a scuffle.
